Apprentice Day with Juliet Eve
Shadow me as I work! This is an invaluable way for new painters to gain experience of being a professional face painter by working alongside me for a day at Paradise Wildlife Park.
The advantages and lessons “on the hoof” are many:
- a full day of face painting demonstrations of every sort
- kindness, care and management of children
- consideration and communication with parents
- tact in handling the challenging customers
- dealing with the ”under twos issue” without provocation
- the difficult requests (lemur or Buddha!)
- managing the queue
- switching to Glitter Tattoos
- marketing on the go
- looking after yourself, your back, legs and your mood
- looking after finances safely and realistically
- keeping up the speed
- not forgetting to keep smiling, joking; be polite and yet professional, etc!
All in all, a useful day.
If appropriate and subject to certain stipulations, you may be able to join in painting the public.
I generally paint most days in the school holidays, therefore simply get in touch and we can arrange a mutually convenient day. The cost of the day is £95.
