Learning to airbrush will open up a whole new realm of artistic possibilities, whether you paint on face or body. From stencilling to shading, from hair art to nail designs and tattoos, an airbrush will allow you to achieve amazing fantasy effects, beyond the bounds of brush or sponge.
Courses at Façade Academy will not only teach you how to achieve perfect results easily with an airbrush, but will ensure that you understand airbrushing equipment in absolute detail. You will learn how to dismantle and reassemble your kit, so that you understand thoroughly how to clean and maintain it and how to use it with airbrush products for best possible results.
Our guest tutor, Jane Fairman Maier, is a TV and film make-up artist who specialises in airbrushing. She has taught both internationally and at leading UK make-up colleges and has airbrushed make-up for productions such as the 1920s TV drama Mr Selfridge and the Brad Pitt zombie film, WWZ. Jane uses her airbrush in her body painting creations for TV commercials for brands such Sannex, Fujitsu and Land Rover, to name a few.
Jane is an enthusiastic but patient teacher, who makes sure her students leave her classes loving their new airbrushes and full of ideas about how they can use them to make their own artistic creations even more exciting.
