How to stay visible and memorable in a sea of scrolling
Recently FAM Club members took part in an Instagram daily posting challenge – and something quite exciting has been happening.
The members who have been showing up consistently, sharing their work, and engaging with daily prompts are already seeing a noticeable lift in both views and follower numbers. It’s not magic… it’s momentum.
Instagram rewards visibility, and when you give it a steady stream of creative, engaging content, it starts returning the favour.
But let’s pause for a moment and ask the bigger question… why does that actually matter for a face painter?
Growing your audience isn’t just about numbers ticking upwards. It’s about getting your work in front of the right eyes. Are you trying to attract more party bookings? Then your content should speak to parents and event organisers, showing clear, colourful designs that children love. Are you positioning yourself as a professional artist for festivals or corporate work? Then consistency, branding, and polish become your best friends. Or perhaps your goal is to build your reputation within the face painting community itself, opening doors to teaching, collaborations, or creative opportunities.
Each goal has its own audience, and understanding that helps you navigate the waters more clearly and avoid drifting in the wrong direction.
If you’ve not already had a peek, check out what we’ve been sharing on the Facade Academy Instagram page. The challenge prompts have been designed not just to spark creativity, but to encourage posts that catch attention, invite interaction, and showcase personality alongside skill. Because Instagram isn’t just a gallery… it’s a storytelling platform. Every post is a tiny window into your brand.

Used well, Instagram becomes more than a place to upload photos. It’s your portfolio, your shop window, your stage. It helps potential clients find you, gives them confidence in your work, and keeps you front of mind when bookings come around. At the same time, it connects you with other artists, keeping you inspired and visible within the industry.
By posting consistently, you’re building something far more valuable than a follower count. In a sea of content, standing out isn’t about shouting louder – it’s about showing up with purpose, clarity, and just the right splash of creative flair.
That’s what helps your work rise to the surface and get noticed.
